A Florida residence with an octagonal living hub, distinct family wings, and views toward a wetlands preserve.
McMillan is organized around an octagonal central living room, with separate primary and children’s wings. Major living spaces look toward a wetlands preserve.
The design
Stained cedar shingles and stucco over CMU walls give the house a substantial, traditional character. Porches and a clear relationship to the surrounding landscape complete the family-focused plan.
