Juliet Residence
A contemporary Zilker residence with a third-story downtown overlook, floating steel stair, local stone, and clean geometric forms.
Juliet Residence is a contemporary urban home in Austin's Zilker neighborhood, designed around clean geometry, strong material contrast, and carefully framed views.
The challenge
The compact urban setting required the home to make intelligent use of vertical space while creating privacy and finding opportunities for long views beyond the immediate neighborhood.
The design
A third-story overlook captures views toward the downtown Austin skyline, while a modern floating steel stair becomes a focal point inside. Local stone, smooth stucco, metal roofing, and large areas of glazing keep the exterior crisp and contemporary while remaining grounded in Central Texas.
