A relaxed Texas rambler with fishing-cottage character, generous outdoor connections, and carefully crafted interiors.
Lafayette Park Road brings Texas ranch and rambler traditions together with the informal character of a fishing cottage. Grouped windows and rooms with views in two directions make the landscape part of daily life.
The design
Oak floors, stained glass, three fireplaces—including one in the kitchen—and tongue-and-groove ceilings give the rooms depth and warmth. Roof-following vaults and a coffered living-room ceiling make the fifth wall an important part of the design.
