Burke Residence

A historic downtown Georgetown home adapted for modern family life while respecting its treasured character.

Classic blueprint-style before-and-after plans and elevations of Burke Residence

100%

This late-1800s Georgetown home had detailed woodwork and a sunroom with windows on three sides. The remodel enlarged enclosed rooms, modernized the kitchen and bathrooms, and provided an en-suite primary bathroom and appropriately sized closets.

The design

Built-ins and woodworking details continued the home’s original character. The blueprint-style before-and-after exhibit was created for its appearance in a Parade of Homes.
