Craftsman Bungalow Infill
Single-family · Subchapter F

Overview
Familiar bungalow cues—porch, low-slung roof, textured materials—meet an inner-city context while the house still feels intentionally designed, not copied from a pattern book.
Challenge
Craftsman language can drift into generic trim packages; the goal was a coherent facade composition that still satisfied streetscape and compatibility expectations.
Design response
Porch depth, column rhythm, and window grouping were treated as architectural moves rather than applied decoration, keeping the exterior cohesive from approach angles.
