Link is a single-story Austin infill home designed at a traditional scale that fits comfortably within the surrounding urban fabric.
The challenge
The goal was to give a compact infill house a strong identity without overwhelming the scale, rhythm, and familiarity of an established residential street.
The design
Simple front-gable forms, oversized battered columns with stone bases, and exposed corbels create a highly successful Craftsman facade. The house feels substantial and carefully detailed while remaining respectful of its neighborhood context.
