Overview
A farmhouse modern home on a generous acre along the North San Gabriel — white limestone, board and batten, an open plan, and a kitchen generous enough to be the real center of the house.
Challenge
The site was cooperative. A full acre gave us room to think about the architecture without fighting the land. So that's what we did — focused on getting the layout right, pulling views into the living spaces, and building a home that feels effortless to live in.
Design response
The result is a highly livable house that wears its materials honestly and doesn't try too hard. Built and occupied.
