Overview
The home balances shared daily life with real autonomy for two adult households. Circulation stays legible; acoustic separation and careful sight lines protect privacy at each suite entry.
Challenge
The brief called for parity between suites, generous common space, and flexibility if household composition changes over time.
Design response
A T-plan separates suites onto distinct wings with a central kitchen-dining-living core. Optional kitchenette provision was studied for one suite without compromising the main kitchen as the household heart.
Site & permitting
Drive and walk hierarchy coordinated with fire access and future garage expansion.
