Overview
Small multi-unit infill needs clarity at the sidewalk, at the entries, and in the envelope when four homes sit on one lot as two duplexes around a shared drivecourt—we kept each move easy to read from the street.
Challenge
Compatibility, parking, privacy between units, and vertical circulation all press on the same facade and plan—those drivers were modeled together rather than in sequence.
Design response
A repeated bay rhythm and disciplined material banding organize length on the street. Entries are visible without becoming a cluttered patchwork of doors and rails.
