Custom homes and urban infill in Austin.

An Austin property can offer an established neighborhood, mature trees, and a short trip to the places you use every day. Designing there means fitting the home you want into the space and conditions the property actually provides.

An architectural idea with room to develop

At Woodview, roof geometry, structural steel, and the arrangement of indoor and outdoor space shape the home together. At Jeff Davis, the architectural character carries into the kitchen and living areas. These projects show how a custom home can have a clear identity while addressing daily routines, privacy, daylight, and construction.

Making an established parcel work harder

Our Austin work includes narrow homes, courtyard arrangements, duplexes, and small multifamily projects. Northfield used the Small Lot Amnesty provisions available at the time to place homes on original narrow parcels. For a new project, we investigate the current ordinance, the lot’s history, access, and physical constraints before establishing the program.

Start with the neighborhood, then investigate the lot

Tarrytown, Hyde Park, Zilker, and the neighborhoods along South Congress offer different settings for an urban home. Crestview, Brentwood, North Loop, Highland, and sites along North Lamar and Airport Boulevard also belong in an infill search. The review begins with the particular address: trees and root zones, boundaries, elevations, existing improvements, and the approvals that apply. A nearby redevelopment does not establish what can be built on your property.
